At ALPINE SUMMITERS, we are proud to be known for our expertise as a trekking and mountaineering expedition community in the Himalayas of India, Nepal and Bhutan. We are here to connect people to the wonderful nature and her breathtaking beauty. We believe that every person has the will to push their own limits and we, at ALPINE SUMMITERS provide an opportunity to refresh our mind, body and soul. About the Founder
Venkat – the man with the mountain in his heart who listened to the call for a professional adventure community. Our founder Venkat is a certified mountaineer and a Wilderness First-Aid Responder. His call for adventure still yearns for more even after graduating from Jawahar Institute Of Mountaineering- Kashmir and Search and Rescue course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi for Mountaineering, and is certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR) from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute, USA. To add to his list of qualifications, he is also a certified Advance Level Skier from JIMS- Kashmir. He has trekked extensively in the Indian Himalayas and also has led enthusiasts on treks in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Kashmir, Sikkim and Nepal. He has summited multiple peaks including Kang Yatse 1 and 2, DKD2 ,Bhagirathi-2, Mt Mentok Kangri and Stok Kangri.
